Crop Your Design. To every platform's size requirements.
← Crop Your DesignSecurity and Compliance

Two kinds of data, handled two different ways.

Your images are one kind. The contact and request forms are another. They don't work the same way, so they're explained separately below rather than lumped into one vague policy.

Your images: never transmitted

Cropping happens entirely in your browser's own canvas. There is no server on our side that accepts image uploads: not for the crop tool, not for the format conversion, none of it. See the privacy page for exactly how to verify that yourself in your browser's network tab.

Contact and request forms: name, email, message

The contact form, the Premium notify-me signup, and the "request a platform/size" buttons are different: those do send data. When you submit one, whatever you typed (your email, and a name or message if the form asks for one) is sent via Resend, an email-delivery service, and lands as a plain email in our inbox. It is used only to read and reply to your message, not for marketing, ads, or resale.

We keep those emails as long as a normal support inbox would: to ask that yours be deleted, write to info@cropyourdesign.com.

What's stored in your browser

A small amount of local preference data (your chosen language, the last platform you used, whether you've already seen the language-suggestion banner) is kept in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and isn't a cookie in the tracking sense: clearing your browser data removes it.

Ads on the free tier, none on Premium

Crop Your Design is a freemium product: the free, account-free tool stays free by carrying ads, and Premium accounts are ad-free as part of the subscription.
